The Best Point-and-Shoot Camera

I once had the privilege and liberty to use one of these cameras.  However, after a series of unfortunate events, it was stolen from me.  (Those people don't know how lucky they have it!)

I just re-bought this camera for the owner (I had it on loan) and it is still an amazing camera.  Sony, however, stopped making it.  I wonder why.
