Hair Attempt #2

One of Cat's priorities this trip was to get her hair re-done.  Yes, it did look cute, but she was more concerned about how it would end up looking like her previous perm (and yes, she disliked it, too).

We made our way over to Banqiao to visit jou-ma (auntie) and grabbed some amazing fried chicken (Asian style) and bubble milk tea from the market.  This is probably the most amazing milk tea I've had since we got here... the flavors of the tea were just perfect.  We took it to the hair salon as we went through another round of re-designing.  Mine was just redyed so the color was a bit brighter (it was mostly back before), but the problem is... my hair grows way too fast.  In 3 weeks, my roots have grown out to almost an inch!  *sucks for me*  We tried to re-dye it... the roots only turned brownish black (like the first color dying).

Catherine had a total make-over.  Her hair is now reddish brown, straighter with some curl at the ends, and her bangs are much thicker.  Honestly, pictures are the only way to describe our new hair.

We didn't have to spend that long at the salon compared to last time.  Jou-ma took us to get some shaved ice (which I loaded the almond jello and condensed milk on!) and sat at her shop until she was done.  I took a nap- Cat just sat around.  It really did take quite a long time, but it's alright.

Cat and I slept in the living room that night- gotta love the AC when it's hot and humid at night.
