Yesterday Cat, Kent (Wei-liang), and I woke up bright and early to go out for a bit. We left with A-gong, A-ma, and their friends (e-gong and e-ma). We did a bit of touring/sight seeing around the city of Taitung. We went to a park with this big hut playground (unfortunately, we couldn't go up because it was locked).

We took a lunch break at a park/garden that grew their own leafy salad/veggies. We went to the garden for their lunch buffet- not your ordinary buffet. We each had a pot of soup in front of our plates, grabbed lots of leaves (there were like 10 different kinds of leaves) and veggies, meat, etc. Think of a veggie based hot pot... so good! I felt super healthy ^_^

| YUMMY! See the individual pots? |
 |
| All of this goes in the soup for about 15 seconds... then it's ready to eat! |
 |
| A-gong really likes chicken hahaha |
 |
| A-ma is always laughing and happy :D |
 |
| A view of the buffet... different, eh? |
We bought some fresh made mochi before heading back home. I was so tired I took a 3 hour nap on the couch! Everyone else took naps in the car... heh heh heh XD I woke up to eat (again) and watched one of my favorite movies- She's the Man. Gotta love it!

| A-gong ZZZ.... wait a minute, isn't he suppose to be driving?! |
Today we left to pick up Yi-ling and go up to the mountain to go para-sailing. It looked fantastic! Unfortunately, when we went to buy some tickets, they were booked 3 hours in advance and weren't booking anymore due to unpredictable weather. Oh well, next time. :)
We ate these amazing sausages wrapped in sticky rice.... with just a hint of spice, it was probably one of the most amazing things I've ever had.
 |
| Yes! Mom, be jealous, these sausages are delicious!!! |
 |
| See? Even A-gong is chomping away! |
We came back to eat mini-mangoes that felt like it had a hard skin, but once you peeled them, they were juicy and soft.... and so sweet! Cat and I ate 5 mangoes... hahaha

We learned how to make Zhong Zi so we can make some at home for our parents... it was somewhat of a fail. She didn't teach us how to make the stuff inside, just taught us how to wrap it. Yet, we still wrapped it terribly. They are SO ugly... but practice makes perfect, right?

| See the little group at the end? That is me & Cat combined. Guess who made the rest.... |
 |
| and yet, we are still re-tying our failures.... |
Now, it's time to eat... YET AGAIN. Gotta love getting fat! Luckily Cat and I worked out yesterday- we're a smidge sore today. :P
