This morning we woke up with a new guest at the Yellow Submarine, Lisa. :) We started off the day pretty late- waking just before it was time for lunch. As we headed out, packed with 2 days worth of stuff, we headed to the Hello Kitty Cafe. <3 It was adorable!!! The wall openings were shaped like HK, chairs had bows, and everything = pink. We ordered toast (one chocolate with fresh whip and one onion cheese) and I ordered a greenchino- a green tea yogurt frozen drink. Yummy!
We searched for a store called Oval to look for stationary, but to no avail. We accidentally stumbled upon Condomania.... yes, you guessed it. It was fantastic! Lots of good laughs. :) We took a train to Yeoido Island and took a very nice bike ride along the Han river. Cat and I rented a 2 person bike!!! It was probably the most relaxing moment of the trip so far (yes, even more relaxing than the sauna). The wind was blowing, the river nearby, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. :D
We took the train & a 1 1/2 hr bus ride to Anjong, Lisa's city just outside of Seoul. Very quaint little town. Her apartment, which was more like a studio apartment, was very nice. :) We had Korean BBQ with some delicious side dishes- kimchi bean sprout salad, cabbage vinegar salad, potato & purple sauce, stone pot egg, and miso-kimchi soup (sorry, don't know what it's really called). We went to a norebang (karaoke bar) to sing and Cat and I found out that Lisa is an amazing singer!!! <3 hearing her voice. :)
We turned in early (at around 1:30 a.m.) to prepare for tomorrow's long trip home. Thanks to Lisa Peck, our fantastic tour guide and friend. We had a fabulous time!!!
